This FAQ pertains to Las Lomitas specific questions

When will students be in the new classrooms?

At the start of the 2018/19 school year.

When will construction be completed?

We plan to finish our Priority 1 buildings at La Entrada the start of the 2018/19 school year.

Will there be Artificial Turf installed?

There are currently no plans for Artificial Turf at the LE campus. A field restoration is planned upon the removal of portable buildings at the end of Priority 2 activities.

Will the buildings be Energy Effiencent?

Yes. We are participating in PG&E's Savings By Design grant program as part of our building program. Our Buildings are currently targetted at 22% more efficient than the building code.

Will the buildings be LEED Certified?

At this time there are no plans to pursue LEED Certification.

Will LE have Solar Panels?

Yes, the LE building will include enough solar panels to make it almost a net zero building

Will you install electric vehicle charging stations?

We are doing no work in the parking area at this time but will consider installing EV charging stations in the future.

What are you building at La Entrada?

The new construction features include:
• 21 classrooms
• Collaboration zones throughout the building
• Reconfigred blacktop and play areas
• Enlarged lunch area
• New covered lunch area
• New bike path
